Crossfitness training is very popular these days, a sort of military style rigorous training involving weightlifting upper and lower body strength and conditioning amongst many other disciplines like ropeclimbing. Much more involved than your basic fitness gym monthly membership might cover.

thanks (again) the magic of tights.....

it will take a long while for this thread topic to 'catch on'...eventually there will be posters; i know the same thing happened with the triathlon thread which i started brand new here on TPOWIS; took a while but eventually it got posters chiming in....this one will be tougher (less visible since its not a sport such as triathlon) but the popularity and number of crossfit training gyms out there is HUGE and rising and a great alternative to traditional gym memberships which are more expensive and becoming a bit 'pasee' with the younger @ fitter crowd which want a bit of a challenge it [the 'military style strength training' regiment training] offers. Most of their gyms are concrete block interior warehouses devoid of all the fancy machines and ambience that cater to traditional gyms as you can see from the hundreds of posted photos.
crossfitness training was originally 'invented' for the military; it also is used/adapted for police, fire, rescue and other professions
[theres a crossfit gym less than 2.5 miles from where i live; i pass by it on my way to/from a lighting@bathroom showroom that i frequent as i am planning a makeover...just today i saw them out in the streets as they had just done some jogging; and sure enough most gals were wearing capris ]
so....i plow away all by my lonesome for now; ENJOY!
