I think it's just that people are more apt to take pictures of them in Russia. They're pretty common around here, but not too many Americans actively take pictures of women in leggings. And then, there are all of the gymnasts and dancers...

i agree with VanMan....it may be more of a curiosity since that country might be a bit more conservatively dressed So teens might be more likely to photograph themselves especially when wearing leggings since its not so often worn in the population in general....

again its all conjecture by us westeners i hope evaee comments.....

Already even guys meet in leggings on the street! But, lately, a lot of people wear sweatpants with cuffs at the bottom of the pants. Even the elderly wear them too. And I have these casual clothes! But I think leggings are the sexiest clothes!
