i will even throw in a 'promotional nogi 15 second training camp' video to try to entice you all here in the forum to click more of these 'i love my jiu-jitsu girls' photos i post every week in the legging section:post script...i was going to do a further comment but since VanMan has since commented i will acknowledge his remarks:...Yes hes right its only been fairly recently that women&girls have gotten into the grappling sport as participants so yes most of the judges have been male and so its just logical to have them as referees for the "FEW" women in the sport....women are only like 20% of participants anyway its still a predominantly male sport i am talking about grappling jiu-jitsu and mma altogether...there are much more women in college wrestling for example....also note that jiujitsu originally and still do use the gi type robes....only in the last 5 -6 +/- years that no gi jiujitsu originated as you all know by now due to my constant postings...no gi means no robe its lycra rashguards and leggings tight to the skin thats used instead of the traditional 'gi' robes that most of these martial arts wear as apparel during combat.....
the 'smartass' comment that i was going to say is that unfortunately you guys here on the forum dont click/open as much those jiujitsu photos i post BUT maybe these judges will become members of this forum so in a way my photos will indeed recruit more guys who follow that sport to sign on to TPOWIS....

I think you see referees and judges of ALL combat sports being male because women in those sports are a fairly new concept. Usually, martial arts, boxing and wrestling officials participated in the disciplines/sports, and until 50 years ago, there were very few women in them. The passage of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 in the U.S. started the increase in female participation in sports, and over the last 20 years, we're seeing more women in the combat sports after some simply took them up for defense.Lycrafan2004 wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 1:58 am Are there only male officials? Here in Iowa, girls had to wrestle against boys for over a decade, because this state has two governing bodies for high school sports: the Iowa High School Athletic Association (IHSAA or IAHSAA) handles mostly the boys' sports along with cheerleading, and the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU) governs girls sports. The Girls Union started in the 1920s because of the popularity of six-player basketball and the fear it could overtake boys' five-player games in the IHSAA. The IGHSAU later recognized girls-only competitions in volleyball and softball along with separate competitions in track and field, swimming and diving, cross country, tennis, golf and soccer and then evolved basketball to the five-player game. Only last February did the IGHSAU announce it would sanction girls wrestling starting this season, as more schools were forming informal girls wresting teams.
Of course, there was one girl who remained in the boys wrestling competition, because Reanah Utterback's school, Sigourney-Keota in southeast Iowa, didn't field a full girls team this year. Most of the girls are too young to have that school be competitive against nearby teams that have more stablished girls wrestling programs (i.e. Iowa City High, Iowa City West, Ottumwa, etc.), so she kept with the boys team. IGHSAU's bylaws state that a girl must be in girls competition unless that school doesn't have a girls team, then she can be on the boys team. Boys are expressly prohibited from crossing over to the girls team, even though the only girls sport that has no boys equivalent in Iowa is volleyball.

Alexa Bliss (aka Lexi Kaufmann-Cabrerra) is going to be on the shelf for at least the next year. She and husband, singer Ryan Cabrerra, announced she's expecting their first child in December.

BUT I'VE BEEN POSTING HER FOR A WHILE NOW....probably a couple of years NOT knowing her age....BUT DONT WORRY SHE LOOKS MUCH OLDER AND STRONGER AND would definitely not be CONSIDERED an underaged 'child'...going by her photos and the following match:
