ONLY MY 3RD OR 4TH EVER POST....and SURPRISE ~~ SURPRISE no its not a 'golden oldie' post.....that i leave it to our moderator to continue that STRONG tradition.....i have always kept photographer Helmut Jeels as a bookmark, he mostly does magazine photoshoot photography and has an impressive model photo shoot collection on flikr.

not my cup of tea WHATSOEVER but i found a few circa 1941 leggings photos in black&white...YES THEY WILL FLOOR YOU when you see them next friday

....hint; they are ballet related & made of cotton but they look quite realistic to todays look

which brings me to this post:

from that source i saw a few of these 'golden oldie' ones and i checked and did not see these photos at 1st glance but i am sure they may be in this thread somewhere

i am sure with a little patience any of you interested can explore the topic simply by adding/typing 'vintage danskins' in the search box and following up all of the links@photos which is exactly what i did (to augment this post) other than that 1961 which was 'connected' to what you will see on friday...a lot of this is sold on ebay and a lot of it is on archival type sites ect...this topic is totally dead for me...never ever had any interest but on the other hand for our moderator its one of his favorite topics
