its no wonder the apnea coach is shmoozing her over....the Italian 19 year old @virnaamarongiu

'19 anni, sarda, dopo l'agonismo nel nuoto Virna Marongiu approda alle gare in apnea, e in un anno raggiunge un bellissimo risultato di 159 metri in DYNB. Sarà lei il nuovo giovane talento dell'apnea nazionale al femminile?'

🎥 https://www.picnob.com/post/6747143540415568575151/ [almost 3 minutes long dynamic apnea]

--for those of you who might be wondering why the use of wetsuits on the pool decks? on a lot of my posts :?: other than to scuba train??? know you know why.....its the sport of apnea or breath holding--

 when i first got involved in this topic at a now defunct forum similar to tpowis...i actually began to wonder why the use of wetsuits on pools when they are clearly not getting their scuba diving 'license' or certificate training completion???? thats how i became familiar with the sport of apnea :o

and if all of this apnea stuff makes you a little hungry  FRESH CATCH OF THE DAY might be in order....this 🇵🇹 gal @carolinagouveiia
Seasoul 🌊 📍From Madeira Island Economics | Business management📈 might be one that i might settle for if i cant get the Italian  as you can see theres way too much competition for her

ITS ABOUT LUNCH TIME AS I POST THIS....FRESH CATCH OF THE DAY ON that fish sandwhich that i will have later on in about 45 minutes as i wait around for the countertop oven to do its thing.....reminds me about a year and change ago i was with my sister and dropped in for lunch at a fish place thats pretty famous around the Miami river....i had a (rare) swordfish sandwich....yeah it was a $45+ sandwich :o  ===>>you have to PAY for the fresh catch of the day :D ....trust me IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST SANDWICHES i've had IN YEARS!!!! ....AND IT WASNT EVEN ON THE MENU; they happen to get a huge 120 lb one-they sell fish as well and i caught an eye of it and the server got me the smallest of the fillets and got it to the kitchen and 'made it happen' :P

and after lunch....you meet your friend at the beach and he asks you about your KITESURFING GF.....which i answer--->

swordfish is found in all zones but more abundant in the north atlantic...South Florida has a tremendous variety of more tropical fish species in the waters of the Atlantic and the Gulf...swordfish is caught but very unusual....the server told me that it was sourced by the restaurant but it isnt generally on their menus as its not a 'regular' fish that they offer....AGAIN 'THE FRESH CATCH OF THE DAY' was actually a fish that they procured earlier that week...so my sandwich was very very fresh and good but it wasnt caught the day before

OHH and she can also be a 'fisherwoman'; thats important for me a gal that can put food on the table:

photos were taken in Oman ( i assume she had a diving event there and had very nice things to say about the country:
'' I have so much to say about Oman and such limited space to write here.
First of all, I want to highlight how beautifully unpredictable this country is. I didn’t expect it to be this stunning. Above the water, the nature is simply breathtaking.. the mountains, the landscapes, the atmosphere. And the people… so hospitable, so genuine, so relaxed. Truly wonderful.
I honestly feel a bit ignorant for not having considered Oman before or taken the time to learn more about it. It’s a magnificent country, and I deeply hope I’ll have the chance to explore it more fully one day.
Then there’s the underwater world, absolutely mind-blowing. The marine life is aaabsolutely incredible.. the diversity of species, the richness of life… it’s overwhelming in the best possible way. "

except for a handful of photos (from a Namibia surf school) ALL OF THE REST OF THESE are from a 🇦🇺 (aussie) surf camp retreat on flikr -they offer a full week stays...i like the way they document the photography by time and you actually have the photographer on surf boards themselves; hence why the close-ups in the water...interesting...surfcamp.com.au 3,5, and 7 day packages 2 hours from Sydney...all of the pics shown are recent as in late april and may from their flikr archives...Remember its the opposite over there; late april and may is their late Fall season...

and to close it out on a 'funny note' of sorts [semi-unrelated] to this post... ive heard folks keeping all sorts of pets...1ST TIME I SEE BABY ELEPHANTS :o  ...shes @lizziedalywild a naturalist Scientist. caption read: 'For world elephant day I’d like to spotlight the work being done to care for orphaned elephants at the Elephant Transit Home, inside Udawalawe National Park, Sri Lanka.
I’ve spent the last year filming a new @channel4 series following the story of orphaned baby elephants being closely cared for here. A large part of our time was following their head vet Dr. Malaka Abeywardana and the conservation team on the ground to understand the scale of the problems with human - elephant conflict'

remember i said it was [semi-unrelated] because i picked up on her from a scuba diving IG source hence what i posted was funny/adorable/cute but as a scientist shes scuba capable:
