finally election fever/day is over...as i correctly predicted 4 1/2+ years ago [went 3 for 3]...ultimately, for Mitt, it came down to having to go 3 for 3 in 3 battleground states {va,fl,oh} and it didnt happen. Mitts momentum ended about a week to week and a half ago...hurricane sandy forced both campaigns to stop (didnt hurt the actual vote in NJ,NY both would have gone democratic) but it put the focus on the president as he was (seen by the rest of the country as fully )able to exercise his office in a natural catastrophy and even got endorsed by republican NJ governor Christie a strong Romney supporter...the 3rd presidential debate on foreign policy was a negative or in the very least a momentum-stopper with too much 'i agree with the president' comments....the 47% comment hurt but i think he got over it nonetheless those 47 percenters got their revenge at the polls yesterday as they voted heavy for Hussein ...and finally Mitt didnt get any bang for his buck with the VP choice which needed to be, a political savvy, from one of those key states to deliver the electors to his party {paul Ryan isnt even well known in his home state of WI and Barrack won the state any way}...remember too that Mitt lost to Mcain in '08 and was handicapped by the millionaire label even back then, so in a way you can blame this loss to the republicans for failing to come up with a strong candidate in 4 years to compete with a vulnerable president with a down economy and unemployment at 7.9%...with a different stronger nominee i think this was a layup for for republicans...anyway i predict that in '16 we will have a republican in the white house (not Romney he would be 73 yrs old and the outcome would be in doubt if hes the nominee again and it would then be his 3rd/4th try)...and finally the guy is popular, young and charismatic; there is a reason why he was elected there in the first place, unmarried women voted 67+% for him (i know married women voted more for romney) and find him 'attractive'...after all of the mud slinging looks like he didnt quite lose that popularity that got him first elected.
on a humerous note: all that talk about Obama Care well, its nice to see a president care for our individual health needs so OBAMA does care ABOUT MY HEALTH and that gets my vote
