(NOPE) superheroinelinksthat is
(not) 'my' source for those photos.I got them on sep27 from: http://www.flickr.com/photos/42786632@N06/page4/
that source, the one you mentioned, is 'new' to me...i am aware of the site but i havent been to it in many many months. Somebody copied the original source.

...looking closely at the 'source' that you posted; i remember quite a number of those photos. Ive shown a number of these before here: a few examples as 'proof' :

in fact a lot of the photos my source was: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34566174@N04/ i mentioned it when i posted Wed Feb 25, 2009,page7
ANYWAY which ever was the 'true' original source i dont know.

A few more pics since i have a lot.

Re: Girls in leggings
Thank you all for the constructive criticism...Kraken wrote: AFAIK you clasify the pics in every post, not acumulated, so the title, in example, "capri-L" would be repeat many times. Of course don't mean that the pic is repeated, of course, and really I didn't detect repeated pics![]()
[i have renamed most of my pics with a '_'in front to distinguish them from previous postings until I start renaming every thing with numbers going forward notice now its _capri-L instead of capri-L ect]
Kraken noticed correctly superheroinelinks that the name keeps getting recycled but its not the same photo. Some repeats are inevitable...I dont photograph so none of it is original to me. But for the large majority of pics i am not a repeater type poster ie post repeats constantly. I have purposely stayed clear of your 'neck of the woods' (celebrities, halloween, catsuits pantyhose ect) and concentrated in areas where you dont frequently post to avoid conflicts and repeats for the most part.
"This leggings thread is such a mess, and for an admin to unscrew all this and re-post it all is a maintenance nightmare."
Isnt Vanman available???? You could assign him the 'task' of going over the repeats so that no matter the name at least you weed out repeated photos. And lycrafan suggested a pic duplicater that could weed out repeats.
Killatron if you are 'monitoring' all of this conversation back and forth right about NOW 'would be a convenient time to chime in' with your Anyway enjoy these for your weekend!

Re: Girls in leggings
Looks like we got a bit of dramu getting in this thread about repeats, renames, in various replies. Ive got a number of PMs about this and even a call to action in the thread itself.
Firstly, while I agree its in the best interest to avoid reposted material, with thousands upon thousands of photos spread out among pages and pages of text, its impossible to expect everyone to know everything posted. Reposted content will happen, it's not that big of a deal, no need to get all upset about it. If its EXCESSLIVE reposting, then something needs to be done. But between the most active posters on this forum, that is not the case.
Secondly, renaming has been brought up as an issue. I have to side with Davis on this one. Some image boards force renaming of photos to some obscure string of numbers. Renaming photos to something more descriptive helps both users sort their material and spider bots find material (which is good for expanding popularity). I personally rename all photos to my system for use in the galleries. I've been doing this since 1998. If a photo starts with ama, art, work, swim, da, event, fight, j, or misc, chances are it was through my system at some point. I do the renaming for my own personal organization to pre sort before they go on the site. I also use some duplicate check software to scan through to make sure I keep reposts to a minimum. But if the photo is simply re-sized, or just recompressed, a duplicate check will fail. But chances are, the obscure numbered file name would be different on a resized image too, so that really isn't much help.
Anyway, when it comes to renaming, its at the poster's discretion. As a personal gripe, it drives me nuts when someone names a series of photos 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. I have to continually rename those on download to keep them from overwriting the OTHER files people continually post with those names. HINT: if you use your username followed by some sort of number for your photos, your username will make it into the final naming scheme I use on the site.
In closing Ill say SHL, so long as the posts are in the right threads, don't worry so much about reposts unless its really excessive. Being overly concerned with it will scare new posters from even trying to contribute in fear of a reply that's just like "repost" or something. Davis, you naming scheme is confusing, but if it works for you , whatever. Just try to make sure your posts are appropirate for the thread they are in. SHL brings up a good point that pantyhose are NOT leggings. Try to sort that out better in the future.

Re: Girls in leggings
Thank you killatron for taking time to address these trully minor details that escalated into a giant molehill that got tempestiuos between two stubborn individuals for the detriment of this forum. Hopefully with this squared away (until the next issue surfaces) we can move forward with the posting and enjoyment by and for everyone.
There are pantyhose and stirrups that resemble leggings from afar and to the camera. The differences are being erased with the newer designs and fashions. I will ask, in case i could not make out the difference visually, that the moderator if he so chooses to simply delete the photo or communicate to me so that i can remove the questioned photo. However I will fully abide by posting in appropriate categories going forward. If there is any questioned photos I ask the moderator(s) not to hesitate and kindly bring it to my attention promptly!
I spent one hour yesterday looking at the 23+ pages of leggings photos and can honestly say that you are correct in your assesment that there isnt a 'repeated photo plague'. I couldnt find even a dozen posted by myself.
I will avoid using the same exact words you all have come too familiar with in my naming photos, here in leggings at least, once i clear out the ones collected. Thanks again.
Not my normal posting day but i want to 'use up' a few of the allowed attachments

Hmmm. I posted something last week--basically an "awesome job and thank you for everything" kind of a post for this thread. I noticed it got erased. I feel strange asking but is it in bad taste to complement and thank the posters of such terrific work? Just curious

Re: Girls in leggings
i have to disagree, Dup Detector is able to scan pics and folders for files, that have been resized or compressed. You can set up the level of matching algorithm you want to be scanned. So even if an image is shrinked to 80% of the size and 95% of the original resolution it will be found.Killatron wrote:....

....
I have used it many years and it was always a help. It may not be fast, but it is really needful!

This has happened to me as well. I think there is a difference between telling someone they are off topic....or just plain deleting their comments. Deletion being equivilent to censure. I completely and fully understand the need for staying on topic and limiting the amount of "high-fiving" that can get out of control...but just state that. Don't go down the slippery slope of censure. That should be left to communist countries and evil.PandyFackler wrote:Hmmm. Superheroinlinks. If you did this. I think you owe everyone an appology. If it was someone else...they need to come forward and appologize.

Interesting, Ill have to look for this program. Ive used the ones inside general image viewing software.Lycrafan2004 wrote:i have to disagree, Dup Detector is able to scan pics and folders for files, that have been resized or compressed. It might have been me. In the event someone posts inappropriate content, either copyrighted, or whatnot, when the offending material is removed, if there are thanks to the poster in regards to that content, those thanks are also removed. Ive only done that a very few times though.themagic_oftights wrote:This has happened to me as well. The content was not offensive and Killatron, you almost always put a note in...explaining your reasons.Killatron wrote:Interesting, Ill have to look for this program.
