IF IN CASE YOU DID NOT SEE MY BIG ROLLERBLADE POST YESTERDAY....I SAW THIS PHOTO OUT OF MANAUS BRAZIL a few days ago; [YOU NEED TO SEE THAT THREAD FOR CONTEXT....]THAT TRANSLATES TO: $4.535 PER GALLON gasoline not ethanol...NO WONDER THEN THAT GETTING AROUND ON ROLLERBLADES MAKES $ SENSE.... i PAID $3.12 a gallon DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY in my subtropical location....interesting because brazil produces a lot of oil; net exporter...those prices you see are in brazilian reals and they sell by the liter..but when you translate to the gallon and currency valuation for us americans thats the price equivalent for us...their gasoline is 95 octane standard; whereas the price i paid is for 87 octane; [lincoln town car]...they only sell the 95 octane and ethanol looks like.

brings me to a commentary...when i was a kid my parents complained at why a 5 pound bag of white refined sugar was so much more expensive than on the mainland EVEN THOUGH HAWAII PRODUCES SUGAR CANE....well it turns out that they dont have the refineries so raw sugar cane had to be sent by ship to the mainland get it prcessed&refined and then resent back to hawaii again by boat for consumption no wonder hawaii was the most expensive place to buy a 5lb bag of sugar in the entire USA at that time....i believe gasoline is expensive in Iraq even though they are the 4th or so largest producer of oil in the world well they need to import 100% gasoline for domestic auto consumption- i believe they dont have working refineries...Venezuela has nearly the same thing there...there are shortages and thats one of the reasons even though they are still a net exporter.

FOR THOSE WOMEN WHO REFUSE TO SWALLOW AS IN ON A HUNGER STRIKE PROTEST....i wonder how painful it is to have a feeding tube RAMMED DOWN YOUR THROAT IN ORDER TO GET FOOD INTO THE STOMACH...I KNOW IN A HOSPITAL SETTING THIS IS DONE ON PATIENTS UNDER LOCAL ANESTHESIA@ sanitary conditions ....Obviously here no such accomodations and under duress

The photos of the forced feeding tube is demonstrating the insane and inhumane approach to the treatment of animals for human consumption. Not force feeding women on a hunger strike.
It shows that while it is unacceptable to perform this on humans, somehow its totally fine to do this to other living beings.

Information for the site owner: I am subscribed to a blogger writing on historical topics. He decided to ban comments and his blog immediately lost a lot of views and subscribers. He realized that it was important for people to express their opinions, restored the comments and things went well.

THANK YOU BOTH FOR YOUR COMMENTS. PLEASE NOTE THAT I WAS NOT TRYING IN ANY WAY TO MAKE ANY STATEMENT OR GIVING CREDENCE TO ANY GROUP OUT THERE. I simply saw the photos and FAILED TO INVESTIGATE what they were about....i thought to myself how strange it was and since i tend to make some comments on a lot of my posts i thought i would make that forced feeding tube rammed down your esophagus funny to see that. SO I AM SORRY IF THESE PHOTOS ARE PART OF A CAUSE/GROUP MAKING A PROTEST & I AM NOT A MEMBER OF ANY ORGANIZATION OR ADVOCACY GROUP WHATSOEVER NOR DO I HAVE EVER VISITED OR ATTENDED ANY GATHERINGS OR EVEN VISITED THEIR WEBSITES EVER...i did not investigate the source OF THE PHOTOS at all- i saw them on bing 'similar photos' search [you can download the photo or you can open up the site to the photo- i simply downloaded the photo not open the link containing the photo]. BY THE WAY I AM A MEAT EATER and eat poultry@fish as well...i enjoy a well done rib-eye steak once in a while [last week i had one at an Argentinian steakhouse locally with my sister who happens to be in town] and i tend to eat meat & pork at least once a week or so [ ham&turkey sandwiches for lunch mostly]....FYI

A friend brought a flash drive to which he downloaded my photos from this forum and we looked at them on the big screen. I was terrified! Those photos that I tried to "improve" turned out to be just terrible, with some pixels! They look quite normal on my laptop, but not very good on a large one! So I won't edit anymore, but I'd rather throw it away!
