found an interesting caricature etching from Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko (ukrainian) from the 19th century on the @blakz_bjj_voznesensk ukrainian instagram with the following saying:
In this 1844 etching by Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko, a Russian soldier meets death dressed in Ukrainian women's clothing in a Ukrainian village. Shevchenko, as he looked into the water when he signed his etching Kazka. The soldier says to death: "...From the very race we are going to that world, lady death..." Happy Birthday, Taras!


-the person who probably might be familiar or might understand it is evaee i am not sure he is going to be too happy to see this but i will send this part of the post and see if he wants to make a comment.....obviously its a shot at the russians who in the opinion of the ukrainians are still still their enemy going back to the 1800's...so yes no love-loss between these 2 countries as they are still in battle to this day.....
