-looks like some sort of synchro swimming event was to be held there soon since swim team members are from various countries....some of the the ones in red are a little TURKISH action
The 2025 European Aquatics Artistic Swimming Championships will be held in Funchal, Portugal, from June 2nd to 5th.....so what you saw above are a last minute practice session/rehersal saturday before competition starting today....
i almost always see a minimum 1-day delay with flikr than you would with instagram...probably because these 'pro' type photographers have to upload all of the photos taken that day to a desk top computer and transfer on to flikr as attachments versus with instagram where the cell phone itself is a camera and can transmit it onto the web within a minute or so and its on the instagram worldwide. All of the raw footage/photos from these pro cameras have to be looked at, labeled or placed on an album as its passed on to flikr....I HAVE ACTUALLY SEEN TRIATHLON FOTOS on flikr that evening from the event taken earlier that day...usually triathlons are started at sunup so by early afternoon event is over and there is enough time to upload it to flikr and i get to see the pics that evening BUT ITS RARE to see that but ive experienced it!!!!

most of her posts are videos and mostly leggings and athletic catsuits and i will post some of that in the corresponding threads....this last photo is the 'connection' to her and its that she too is a @bodyenginners model....thats how i came across her...most of what i post doesnt come from totally random or out of nowhere; and thats part of finding pics and searching you have to keep searching the very same links and photos with whatever clues are mentioned and thats how you find stuff...ITS NOT GOING TO LAND TO YOU OUT OF THE SKY...you have to do the homework/legwork to find photos; you are not going to find this gal cold turkey as they say just by searching using google search without some hint or clue as to something you have to follow links if you are on instagram or anywhere else you are searching for that matter that why we have a ton of visitors; guys like me do the search for you and why we have an audience....we just would love to have more posters as members making life easier for the few of us who post plus new posters bring a different perspective and variety

[*] In the subtropical area where i live we have a university [UM] that has 5 national championships; the Irish were bitter rivals back in the '90s and when we beat them at south bend and the following year they came down to the orange bowl and TO THIS DAY the 'golden domers' suffered their worst defeat ever in their vaunted history; so much so that they decided to cancel the series....and in fact it took over 20 years before the teams ever met again; thats how bitter the notre dame folks took those losses.....and yes i am sure a few veterans of this forum have some knowledge of what i am banting about....HENCE WHY I SAID: ENOUGH OF THE IRISH, lets see something else ....down here we still remember that 'massacre' at the 'orange bowl' a VERY SORE THUMB/subject TO THE folks that cant swallow those defeats to this day....
I've been posting here since 2008 and i have posted very few FIGHTING IRISH swimmers now you know the why
and yet what counts here TODAY is how good looking they are since none of the gals posted were alive back then

today i reversed the order 'the good stuff' was 1st and now the 'fillers for last
by the way my home town holds a yearly 'miami swim week' and thats held in august every year where lots of photographers and world wide models convene on miami beach to 'strut their stuff' and thats what you are seeing for the first 3 dozen or so photos.................

what i call 'the good stuff' is the swim&dive meets; the swim racer suits to the thighs or ankles; generally speaking those are going to be found in smugmugs and flikr where dedicated sports photographers go to the colleges and universities natatoriums (venues) to cover those.....NOT LIKELY TO BE FOUND ON SOCIAL media type links such as IG hence why those photos are harder to find and not a dime-a-dozen. That was my specialty when i came on board here & started a dedicated thread which was merged into the existing thread and hence the name you see today: Swimsuits Sportswear Photos + Swim Meet Competitions
The 'fillers'; well those photos are ubiquitously everywhere in public and you guys dont need me to find those for you....i post them to fill up the post and theres a big audience for those; i personally prefer to spend the time it takes to search and dig out the swim meets which are 'hidden' and i think would go undiscovered otherwise....TRUST ME IT TAKES TIME TO FIND THOSE EVEN THOUGH YOU SEE ME POSTING THEM IN BUNCHES AT A TIME....

i have a ton of photos so expect a more frequent posting schedule than usual....more like in the 'fillers category' HOWEVER!!! [strong college-aged athletes ] college-aged student athletes those are not really fillers despite wearing one-piece as you all know by now thats my forte; i prefer the thigh-length swim racer 'catsuit'-like suit as in the swim meets.




































ive been 'consumed' with these 'media day' findings on flikr....which are time consuming saving the photos....the way you navigate is to look to see if the photo is 'faved' and if it is then you go to that persons faves and you find lots more photos since nearly all photos are in some album then you check it and its author with more albums and photos of similar interest....you can of course search by topic but its less productive that way but for a novice looking at flikr for the 1st time thats how you start searching it....

swim across america series...no i wouldnt describe those photos like you saw earlier and the one as 'fillers'....fillers are more towards photographer photo shoots and beach or poolside photos....i dont think these gals are 'modeling' -these are official event photos not an arranged photographer photoshoot with multiple takes

lots of 'fillers' today BUT THEY are more of the college-aged competition one piece variety as opposed to the modeling types










































BUT i still prefer to do the swim meets&dive competition ones where they use the catsuit-like thigh high swim racer ones

i was 'rationing' these finswim ankle-length swim racer suits photos...but i found a new source...allowing me to show more of these...i have always specialized in looking for and finding these pics ever since these suits were banned for regular swimming...they are allowed for apnea, finswim, triathlons, and open water swimming...so those are the only sports that allow the ankle length ones; also in some weird way these suits resemble gym-type athletic catsuits and so these photos will almost always bring more clicks than your basic one-piece swimsuits and you all here on TPOWIS tend to favor them as well:

























UNFORTUNATELY you will never see these on the public beach unless its an organized open-water swim...probably another reason why these photos are more popular...just the lack of them in the public domain creates curiousity&intrigue BEFORE I LANDED HERE WITH TPOWIS I HAVE ALWAYS SEARCHED for these...and posted these VERY successfully at my previous now defunct forum

BECAUSE; AS YOU SAID THEY SHED WATER VERY QUICKLY>>HIGH PERFORMANCE swim racing speed suits...the yingfa branded ones are not sold online...those are custom to the athlete and the racing organization that ordered them; like the Egyptian green ones; and generally it may also be the photos were taken prior to going in the water or simply wait a several minutes while the HIGH PERFORMANCE suits shed the wetness VERY quickly >>>they are high performance for a reason

i have always liked these 'catsuit-like' swim racing suits; i think they were banned from regular swim meets at about the time i came on board here on TPOWIS circa '08-2010...back at my previous defunct forum i made it a point to seek these swim racing photos which advanced my posting career over there; so much so that when i signed up here i established a 2nd thread called swim meet competition which was later on merged into the 'old' existing thread you see today...
