I made some scans recently. The first group consists of six scans of entire magazines of Shape. These magazines are from 1986 and 1988. I scanned the images in high-quality. I decided to scan the entire magazines, but feel free to take the images that you like and repost them alone.

I was able to buy these magazines cheaply but it's hard to find more or similar magazines that are so old. I can buy some on ebay but the price is much higher than what I paid for these (which I found offline). If anyone is interested to contribute money to me, I can buy and scan more. Contact me if you are interested.

Looks FANTASTIC! I LOVE Retro VINTAGE 80s stuff like this! I can't wait!!!! I'm adding it to my huge To Do List - THANKS!

I also scanned parts of some old body building magazines and book. I do not own these so I didn't take them apart. I also didn't scan the entire publications. These aren't as interesting as the Shape magazines above but there are some nice images.

I have downloaded your files and edited them a little bit.
The larger ones were shrinked to screen size for better viewing and smaller file size and the smaller ones were shrinked too but only a little.
Also i retouched them to delete the advertisements and writings on the images. I hope you like them.

Password for all is Shape (case sensitive)

By the way:

I have recently bougth some of the german shape from 200X issues but they are not as good as the the american Issues from 198X!
Anybody has bought the current american issue? Is there lycra and spandex inside? Are good models doing the exercises?
If i have the time i will scan some of the better images of the german issue.

And i recognized that the whole magazine is an advertisement for Joe Weirder's Fitness Company

You beat me to the punch, I was going to do the same thing - GOOD WORK!
These page scans are HUGE! Example this is just ONE page scan "Shape_1986_July_085.jpg" this one scan is over 8mb, I cut the images out on the page <see above> = 34 images = 2.05MB a savings of 6mb per page but it's work.
