Again, some duplicates of photos are revealed! And how to fix it- I do not know! When you look through an album of 50,000 photos, you notice that some photos occur 3-4 times. But you don't always find out!

i always erase or delete as soon as i post and since i NEVER EVER KEEP OR SAVE ANY PHOTOS then it makes it easier to organize...also i have a single folder where i save the photos awaiting posting; that could help....if you keep multiple folders then you dont know which ones were posted or not and its recommended to change the file name as i do to some organized way because then its absolutely crazy as you cant figure out the photo by looking at the original file name let alone figure out if theres a duplicate under a different file name or if you have posted it or not.

i always save a photo by renaming it into a category as you all have seen by now but i add some reference in at least one of the photos that belong in that same sequence so that for you all to find more or the source...i remember get a lot of inquires of the source by members here asking if there were other photos...SO about 15 years ago i decided to add a source to the renaming of the photo but still keep it under my filing system numbering....if you want to call it that....organization doesnt matter how you do it or handle it will go a long ways to solving evaee's dilemma.

I KNOW A LOT OF YOU WONT BELIEVE THIS BUT I NEVER EVER SAVE OR KEEP FOR MYSELF A SINGLE PHOTO OF ANYTHING I HAVE EVER POSTED....might be a bit of an exaggeration but i doubt i have kept more than 100 out of the hundreds of thousands of photos in my decades of posting here and at a previous forum
so if i am ever asked to submit/produce 'samples' of my photo postings as a reference for some job application???? guess what i will have to point to this forum because i CANT 'produce' the photos out of my computer

I also send my copies to the furnace after sending photos to this forum. But, after installing a more capacious storage device, I save some photos on the old storage device. I have concerns that something negative may happen to the Internet with the shutdown of its various segments. And then, perhaps, I will create my own website, at least inside Russia. Just a backup, an emergency backup...
